Taking advantage of the Internet2 Global Summit meeting being in California this year, Louis Fox, President & CEO of CENIC, has pulled together a compelling group of leaders from across the CA education community to discuss how each of them are leveraging their robust connectivity to CENIC and the global fabric of r&e networks to improve and expand people’s lives, no matter where they are located.  The discussion will take place at 10am on Monday 05/07/18.  This will be part of our 08:30AM-11:45AM US UCAN meeting  https://meetings.internet2.edu/2018-global-summit/detail/10005058/.

 

The panelists will include:

* Mount V. Allen III, CFE, is the Director of Operations at SFJAZZ

* Kimberly Lewis, CENIC’s legislative advocate and government relations consult

* Deborah Ludford, member of the Board for CENIC, Past President for the Chief Information Systems Officers Association for the California Community Colleges

* Terry Walker, Superintendent, Irvine Unified School District

* Patty Wong, Director of Library Services, Santa Monica Public Library

 

Louis has asked us to help frame the discussion by providing discussion topics or questions you’d like to ask the panel members.  Feel free to share them with the group via the listserv or directly to me.  I will make sure Louis receives our aggregated response.
