At the first call, several people expressed interest in obtaining
external funding to be able to better participate.

Would those who were unable to attend today's call weigh in on NSF
NeTS funding (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2005/nsf05505/nsf05505.htm):

* Would it be worthwhile to pursue or are the chances of getting
  funded low enough that it would be a waste of our time to put
  together a proposal?

* Would you be interested on being on the proposal?

* Would you be interested in helping to put the proposal together?
