Ah, so it's findELF. It seems to be some Solaris quirk. The produced
binary somehow is deemed corrupted by the loader. (ELF is an
executable format.)
According to http://support.bb4.com/archive/200402/msg00443.html, this
might be related to the executables being stripped when they are
installed.
To check this, could you try to reinstall thrulay as follows:
env STRIPPROG=true gmake install
If it starts working, we know what the problem is and can fix it.
