Hi,

I've used the Grandstream Handytone 286 and they work ok. The problem with using them in hotels is that most hotels use digital phones rather than analog. In such cases the ATA style devices don't work.

I've been looking at some of the small, wireless hubs, 3COM, Netgear and probably others by now make them, for use while traveling. Then I can use either a softphone or wireless SIP phone. Of course this only works in places that offer broadband connections. Actually I've been looking at this more for general network access than voice, but one follow the other these days.
