SIP in higher education

Andrew,

Unfortunately, neither Cisco Catalyst 6000 series voice modules nor Cisco 
VG 200 series voice gateways support SIP.  Cisco CallManager controls these 
gateways with other protocols.

Cisco IOS voice gateway supporting SIP include the 2800 series, 3800 
series, and AS 5000 series.
