I was working on a JAAS deployment that took me a bit to get working correctly with my LDAP.  While working on it, I found it much easier to test and verify my configuration with a simple command line program, and I grabbed the sample code from Sun and used it:

I am curious if the same (or a similar) command line utility is tucked away in the 2.0 distribution?  I am going to have to help some non-technical people try and get jaas working over the phone, and working with a command line utility is likely to be a ton easier than trying to go through a web browser.
