| I've setup a shib1 environment once before, so I admit, I'm very much a nube. With that said, I'm working to setup a shib2 setup, similar to the bilateral setup method for shib1. I've compiled and setup the SP I've got tomcat and apache working for the IdP. When I load the 'secure' page to test the SP can talk tot he IdP I get an error (see attached graphic). Basically, it appears I've setup the metadata correctly but for the life of me I can't see to figure out where to start looking. (picture the student in the classroom too affraid to raise his or her hand out of deer in headlights effect!) Can someone point me in the right direction. For some reason I'm just running into this mental block for this and for some reason can not get traction...
