Ok. For one thing, I may have screwed up the config_pub.h.in file somehow.
I'm not all that familiar with that part of autoconf. It may not be "not
defining" the macro like it should be, and turning it on by mistake.

I'd also install the cxxtest RPM so that unit tests get built, it should
catch it earlier.

Which Linux is that? I need to get a VM installed that has that version of
the compiler before the code is frozen anyway.
