A cookbook listing the steps involved in getting an instance of a 
Shib 2.0 IdP minimally operational with TestShib is now available at:

Following the steps in this cookbook will do exactly what's described 
above -- get an instance of an IdP operational with Testshib. This 
will provide a working instance of an IdP, and provide a platform for 
incremental configuration changes as you explore and test.

The cookbook contains specific values for many of the configuration 
parameters. Undoubtedly, these are not suitable for any real use. 
They do, however, get the IdP up and running.

Someone took a week of experimentation to discover the values; it 
seems to take about an hour for an experienced Shib'er to go through 
these steps, and get an operating 2.0 IdP.
