Two more I can think of off the top of my head:

The absolute file names used by the C++ SP config fail, so file:// URL's must be used.

The handlerURL of the Sessions element must be an absolute, complete URL(instead of "/Shibboleth.sso", "https://localhost:8443/shibboleth-sp/Shibboleth.sso".

Nothing's interoperating successfully yet, though, so there may be more.
