I followed up Howard's check-ins after testing and have removed the old
Xerces and Xalan files, and updated to xml-security-j 1.2 in the opensaml
cvs. Signatures appear to work on Java 1.4 and 1.5. With 1.4 you just
endorse all the JAXP jars, so the Xalan issues are cleaner.
We can copy the changes over to shib whenever somebody can test it.
