Hmm, trying the the rh72_gcc32 one on my RH 8.0 box I get:

My libstdc++ is what I think comes out of the box on RH 8.0:

% rpm -q libstdc++
libstdc++-3.2-7

and I don't see any later ones in RH updates.  So?
