As we hear more from campuses interested in potentially selling some of their IPv4  addresses, we thought it important to provide clear information on the actual process. Lee Howard was highly recommended as someone well-equipped to share these details with our community.

 

Lee Howard, formerly the IPv6 Evangelist for Time Warner Cable and a member of the ARIN Board of Trustees when the community adopted the policy to allow transfers, will review the process of selling IPv4 addresses. This isn’t a sales pitch, instead Lee has agreed to share his experience of how the IPv4 market works and how to best navigate the selling process.
