PPSP planning list

Hello All,

We are working to develop the 2013-14 PPSP plan. Information was sent to the 
K20 Initiative group yesterday to distribute an email invitation to educators 
across the nation to participate in the development of the project-based 
curriculum that will drive the project.  Once this team is identified, we 
will begin working on the essential question and theme around the project 
which will lead to the time line for presentations and interaction. Please 
feel free to distribute to customers you may feel would be qualified and 
interested.

I look forward to working with everyone and creating another wonderful 
program for 2013-14.

Email invitation:
The Internet2 K20 Initiative and our national content providers are seeking 
innovative educators to be a part of a unique opportunity to impact 
classrooms. Through this opportunity, educators will create a problem-based 
collaborative project for 2013-2014 incorporating direct communication and 
interaction with experts across the nation around primary source materials. 
Using interactive videoconferencing, discussion threads and other 21st 
Century communication skills, students will clarify, evaluate and synthesize 
primary source information directly with personnel at the nation's National 
Parks, Presidential Libraries and the Library of Congress. 

The panel of innovators will convene several times during the summer to 
design the collaborative project.  The only requirement to participate is a 
sufficient internet connection.
