Hello All,

I'm trying out the listserver on this email.  Please check with your colleagues to make sure they have received this information.  

Wednesday's meeting went pretty well.  We were able to identify some preliminary dates.  I've included the dates below.  The dates are also listed in the attached notes from Wednesday's meeting.  

Initial Teacher Training Event - October 4 and 5. 

Initial Project Launch Event (Teacher + Student ) - October 30 

Content Presentations

• George H. W. Bush – November 8
• Harry S. Truman – November 13
• Valley Forge – November 20
• Theodore Roosevelt – November 27
• Mount Rushmore – December 4
• Jimmy Carter – December 11
• Follow Up Date – January 16

I'm working on some marketing info for distribution to interested schools and participating states.  The sooner I can get the abstracts from the content providers the sooner we'll be able to reach out and get some solid participant counts.  Teachers will need to know as much information as possible in order to plan and prepare for the training.  

During the meeting on Wednesday the 12th we'll try to accomplish the following.

• Discuss the current marketing material
• Discuss the website.  
• Plan initial distribution of marketing material
• discuss social media elements of marketing
• reconfirm dates
• discuss content provider training
