Which I suppose is why psconfig was complaining about not recognising esmond. But the only file actually present in /etc/perfsonar/psconfig/archives.d/ is http_logstash.json. Am I right in thinking that elmond is translating the http archive entries to esmond, and that's why this works? So after 5.3 or whenever esmond finally disappears, the WLCG test spec will have to change?

Hi Tristan,

Elmond is just a package to convert Esmond queries to queries understood by Opensearch i.e if you had something old (using Esmond API) querying your new host.

Your pscheduler is not able to validate properly and will not also produce new schedule because it fails at missing esmond archiver plugin required by the entry in your JSON file. Provided you still have to store data into this Esmond MA (don't know what WLCG requires) you have to install the esmond plugin. If storing to Esmond is no longer necessary remove this archiver definition from the config file. In both cases pscheduler should correctly start validating.

If I'm not mistaken http_logstash.json is pointing to your local Opensearch archive
