We just did similar but went pretty scorched earth with it. We didn’t really have any need for the historic data outside of keeping a list of endpoints, and turned out public nodes into test only systems …

 

Expendable test points are my preferred modus operandi if there’s more than one.

 

Getting pSConfig and a central archive set up is a bit of extra work up front but it greatly simplifies management of a fleet.  Add the new host to the pSConfig file, point new test points at its URL and you’re in business.
