Hi, ALL.

I am plan to upgrade (re-install) perfSONAR to 5.1.0.b1.

Which OS do you prefer for perfSONARRocky 9 or Ubuntu 22?

Following the article[1], RedHat eliminates old TCP congestion algorithms on RHEL 9. RedHat eliminates most of them that are not used recently.

I investigate what TCP congestion algorithms in each Linux Distros[2], and Rocky 9 has only 3 algorithms.

pscheduler can change congestion algorithm parameter. If OS not support old algorithms, some schedulers would be canceled.

$ pscheduler task throughput --congestion=CONGESTION ...

So, I would like to choose Ubuntu 22. What's your choice?

Best Regards.
