Hi,

I'm setting up a new perfSONAR box at the edge of our net.  I was looking for remote sites to test against.  Easy-peasy, just visit the Global Node Directory, scroll through the long list till you find a place where you'd like to test to, add it as a host for your tests and off you go.

At least that was the way it used to be.

Now I've found it very difficult to find a 'live' site, and worse, the ones I find seem to be restricted and my U's IPs don't make the cut.

There must be a better way to find a host to test against, somewhere along a national path you are checking for congestion.

Any help using the tool or other suggestions appreciated!

Phil
