Thank you for your report.
You are right, there was a packaging bug in the maddash package. It has been
just addressed and the new packages (5.0.7-2) have been published to our
repository. Doing an `apt update && apt upgrade` should get you the new
packages and make maddash work as before.
Let us know if you still run into an issue. Sorry for the inconvenience this
has caused.
