Is this where I would go for issues with the install process. We are getting the curl (56) message.

This is as good a place as any.

[root@aeplglobus01 bruhenry]# yum install http://software.internet2.edu/rpms/el7/x86_64/latest/packages/perfsonar-repo-0.11-1.noarch.rpm

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 for x86_64 - BaseOS (RPMs)                                                                                                                          66 kB/s | 2.4 kB     00:00

I’m able to pull the package from that URL without problem and am not seeing signs that the host serving it up is having problems.  If you’re able to rule out anything like proxies or other security appliances between that host and ours, drop me a line off-list and I’ll see what I can do to help troubleshoot it.

Also of note:  You appear to be attempting to install on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.  We do not have production support EL8 in any form as of right now (beta should be out soon).  RHEL will probably work, but it’s not on the officially-supported list.  (See https://www.perfsonar.net/post-2021-08-05-os-support.html for more information.)
