Hello,

Another item I ran into (a while back, it may have changed since) is that the image does not work on ARM64.

There are a lot of capable single board computers available nowadays, so being able to use the docker image there for a testpoint would be nice.

One thing to clarify is that the provided docker image is of the testpoint bundle, meaning it just has the components to run tests and send them to an archive that runs someplace else. There are no web interfaces on the container since it is not a full toolkit. The perfsonar configuration files are located on the image in the same place they would be on a non-container perfSONAR install (e.g. /etc/perfsonar, /etc/pscheduler). If you are having trouble starting  the container, you may need to run it in privileged mode (add --privileged to your "docker run” command). We ran into this issue internally just last week when trying to run the image on a host system running Ubuntu 18 - I don’t think that is universally required.

Also, wrt your question about an Ubuntu-based container, that is something we are exploring but don’t have a timeframe for that at the moment.

the perfsonar webinterface is not working, or the container are given exited and alot of errors.

do you have a date on, when you will release an image that are running on ubuntu 2004 instead of CentOS with non broken packages ? 

do you have an more fulfilled installation guide then the one on your website? 

that I would be able to get a copy of :)
