From Googling around, for Raspbian it seems that all you needed to do (in 2017) was "modprobe ipv6", and more recently it seems to be enabled by default. It would be odd for Ubuntu/Debian to break IPv6 on purpose.
For info, Mythic Beasts, who host RPi web content, have an IPv6-only RPi hosting service, see https://www.mythic-beasts.com/order/rpi. Not sure which Pi model that is, they started doing it
2-3 years ago maybe.
