That's weird, do you have any pointers to what's going on - kernel limitations, userland limitations, NIC limitations? From Googling around, for Raspbian it seems that all
you needed to do (in 2017) was "modprobe ipv6", and more
recently it seems to be enabled
by default. It would be odd for Ubuntu/Debian to break IPv6
