The older documentation mentions port 8090 for incoming direction and 8096 for outgoing.

Dear Tadeja,

LS registration process requires two ports to be accessible from your host:

http://ps1.es.net:8096/lookup/activehosts.json <- this host is used for the node registration bootstrap. So this will be outgoing direction

and then 8090 is used for registering your host TO the chosen Lookup Service server.
