Hi all,

I'm just wondering whether we're the only ones seeing tons of errors like:

2019-04-07 06:49:03 NZST [1562-1] ERROR:  canceling autovacuum task

2019-04-07 06:50:35 NZST [1791-1] ERROR:  canceling autovacuum task

2019-04-07 06:53:01 NZST [2386-1] ERROR:  canceling autovacuum task

2019-04-07 06:53:01 NZST [2386-2] CONTEXT:  automatic vacuum of table "pscheduler.public.run"

That's perfsonar running on ubuntu 16.04, installed from http://downloads.perfsonar.net/debian/ via ansible, and having pulled in postgres as a dependency from stock-Ubuntu packages.

We managed to eliminate these by setting the following in /etc/postgresql/9.6/main/postgresql.conf: 

autovacuum_vacuum_cost_delay = 0ms

deadlock_timeout = 5s

Aside from now not having tons of repetitive useless errors filling up disk we also have halved the disk use of the pscheduler database.
