That's an interesting device, thanks for sharing.
AFAIK nobody tested it with perfSONAR. We do provide and support Debian and Ubuntu packages for ARM processors. We have arm64 builds which I'd guess should be what you need on this device.
The only limitation is probably the RAM. Maybe a full toolkit will be too much, but a perfsonar-testpoint should run I think. Installation instructions are at http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_debian.html

I’ve been out of the loop a bit with perfSONAR lately so I apologize if this is a known or dead issue, but last week I was introduced to a very low-cost but high-performance device:

Note that it can achieve north of 900Mb/s throughput in an extremely tiny form factor. I have one and I can attest to the fact that it goes >900Mb/s with iperf3.
