Hi Phil,

I notice you have configured your Apache to run as a foreground process.

It does not become clear to me what is the OS you are using.

Is there any particular reason to have Apache configured like this?

Regards,

Ivan Garnizov

Hey Andy,

There are some errors in maddash-server.log file:
INFO 2018-08-01 00:00:00,001 oldestAllowedTime=1532502000
ERROR 2018-08-01 09:38:25,385 Error scheduling job The Scheduler has been shutdown.

Might these be what hang HTTP processes?

I put a cron job in each morning to restart httpd, seems to help.  Currently only 26 of these are hanging out:
   CGroup: /system.slice/httpd.service
           ├─ 5794 /usr/sbin/httpd -DFOREGROUND
           ├─12845 /usr/sbin/httpd -DFOREGROUND
...

Any help for the diagnosis?

Phil

Hi Phil,

The hardware setup seem reasonable for what you are trying to do. MaDDash generally is not too hard on httpd. httpd really only gets hit when you use the web page. I wonder if soething else is happening that is breaking httpd. Also, any errors in the files under /var/log/maddash/?

Thanks,

Andy
