perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

Morning All,

 

                                 I have been given a task of refreshing all of our Perfsonar nodes. I was given a quote for hardware and was hoping to get some feedback as to whether these devices are suitable for our needs. These boxes will be used to measure 10gb latency and throughput. Unfortunately cpu specs weren’t included but from what I read in the faq I’ll need at least a dual core 3.0ghz processor. It looks like I might also need additional ram as I would like to make one or two of these devices a central MA. Please see below for specs. Thank you for your time.
