Hi,
I sent this to the wlcg-perfsonar list, they suggested I try CentOS7 and then
if it’s still the same report it to this list.
I installed a second C7 test box and as far as I can tell the behaviour is
exactly the same (the second box still has multiple interfaces but only one
is active).
Has anyone seen anything like this, I’m guessing is some subtle version
difference in some rpm or puppet module but I’m not having any luck in
tracking it down.
Thanks,
Chris.

Hi,
I’m trying to set up a new perfsonar host with multiple interfaces to test
routes both through and bypassing our site firewall.
I’ve set up a new SL6 box and installed perfsonar-toolkit 4.0.2 on it.
All the service are running and I don’t see many errors in the log files but
if I got to the toolkit website, it just sits spinning “Loading… “ at me. In
/var/log/ssl_error_log I get:
[Wed Jan 03 12:45:58 2018] [error] [client 130.246.XX.YYY] Can't call method
"if_list" on an undefined value at /usr/lib64/perl5/IO/Interface/Simple.pm
line 17., referer: https://hep-ps-bw-bp.pp.rl.ac.uk/toolkit/
[Wed Jan 03 12:45:58 2018] [error] [client 130.246.XX.YYY] Premature end of
script headers: host.cgi, referer: https://hep-ps-bw-bp.pp.rl.ac.uk/toolkit/
I can, by clicking on the web page make the “Loading…” overlay go away and by
repeatedly doing that have managed to set up a test which does run (the
results mostly appear on the front page) but the test does not get listed on
the admin/tests.cgi page so I cannot edit it.
Also, when setting up the tests the only thing in the “Interfaces” drop down
is “Default”
It really looks to me like the cgi script is dying when it tries to enumerate
the interfaces on the host, but I haven’t been able to dig through the code
to work out exactly what the problem is.
Has anyone tried anything or seen anything like this before?
Thanks,
Chris.
