Hi,

It sounds like you are both  hitting an issue with the page connecting to the lookup service we’ve seen a a number of times where it does not timeout properly. We actually have a fix in 4.0.2 which is in beta and will be out right after the Thanksgiving break for this. You are welcome to try the beta on those machines or you can wait it out two weeks and click past the loading screen in the meantime. I apologize for the inconvenience either way.

Thanks,
Andy

I have what may be the same problem. For me, it has a simple solution which I didn't stumble on for a while - just click anywhere on the page. The "Loading" disappears. Repeatable, odd, but easy to work around in my case.

Yes, I can reach that page-- loads with no problem. Restarting cassandra didn't fix it either, nor did a complete reboot.

esmond.log looks happy:

There was a complaint about cassandra in django.log, but it didn't repeat, so I think this was just during startup:

Hi,

Can you reach "https://<hostname>/esmond/perfsonar/archive/?limit=1”? You
may want to try restarting cassandra (systemctl restart cassandra). My
guess is that its hanging trying to connect to esmond. You can look for
errors in the logs under /var/log/esmond to verify.

Thanks,
Andy

Are you accessing the web UI by an IPv6 connection?
