If you're looking to retrieve data out of the backend storage system, I'd probably direct you over here: http://docs.perfsonar.net/client_apis.html

I'm only mentioning these to seed the idea of possibilities down the line. In 4.0+, pScheduler has an API that you can get all of this information from as well, but there isn't a user-land facing document on the API yet. There's also the possibility to write a custom archiver plugin that could receive the results of whatever test you run and do something with them, but the API into this is changing slightly in 4.1 so it may be best to hold off on that for the time being.
