perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

Hello,

In reference to this email thread, I've installed a VMware VM (VMware Fusion 8 for Mac OS x) on my MacBook Pro laptop and then 

attempted to install the perfsonar-toolkit onto the VM via the CentOS Toolkit ISO installation option. I've followed all of the instructions at http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_centos_netinstall.html and everything seemed to work OK, but when I get to the last steps (#10-11)

at the bottom of the web page and I reboot to restart the VM host and the VM restarts, I'm again presented with a screen asking

me how I want to Install the perfSONAR Toolkit system (like in step #1 under "Step-by-Step Guide using graphical installer"

in http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_centos_netinstall.html) and it automatically goes back to the perfSONAR installation sequence,

rather than presenting me with a login screen where I can login with the root user name and the password in order to start configuring

the perfSONAR toolkit for the first time. I am not sure if I've done anything wrong during the installation or what the problem is here. 

Do you happen to have an suggestions or instructions on what I can do to correct this problem and/or some trouble-shooting tips?

Using the ISO will save you the step of having to install CentOS before the perfsonar-toolkit bundle, but either will get you to the same place in the end.
