Hello Omar,

To configure the psUI to make measurements to your 3 nodes, you need to go to the 3rd tab "Local" of the service list settings.  There, the URLs you need to add will be something like:

And repeat that for the other 2 nodes.

If your hosts use public IP adresses and you register them with the ls-registration-daemon, which you can configure on each Ubuntu host, you should then be able to see your hosts in the first tab (Simple LS).

Hope this helps,

Antoine.

Hi all,

I installed perfSONAR on 3 local nodes (Ubuntu 14.04) following the instructions inhttp://docs.perfsonar.net/install_debian.html.
I have installed perfsonarUI as well following instructions in http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_psui.html.

From perfsonarUI in one node, I am trying to run some tests (throughput or one-way latency), however, I am unable to add the other 2 nodes services.

The service URL of the perfSONAR service as obtained during service installation and the same as what is registered to the Lookup Service. For MP and MA services, the URL should be the full web service URL. For example, http://hostname:8090/services/MP/BWCTL is a typical service URL for a BWCTL MP and http://hostname:8080/perfsonar-java-sql-ma/services/MeasurementArchiveService is a typical service URL for a SQL MA. For pS Performance Toolkit BUOY Measurement Archive services, the URL should be similar to http://hostname:8085/perfSONAR_PS/services/pSB. BWCTL and OWAMP endpoints which are not MPs should have URLs that contain the hostname or IP address of the service and the port that the measurements should use. For example, http://hostname:4823 is a working URL for BWCTL endpoints.

From where can I get the URL in this case?

I have 3 tabs: Simple LS, Internal and Local. “Use simple lookup” and “use local services” are checked. And the URL in Simple LS is set to: http://ps-west.es.net:8096/lookup/activehosts.json on all the nodes.

Cheers,
Omar
