I wouldn’t worry about this too much, especially if the rest of the system is at or above the recommended settings but it will be something important to keep in mind when you look at results.

I would recommend the toolkit installation since that is the most hands-off approach. It is a Linux ISO meaning it installs the operating system, perfsonar package and applies some standard default system settings that should be good in most cases. I would recommend the NetInstall version so it starts with the latest packages.

Is there some tutorial or some help explaning the installation?

Generally the “Installation” section of http://docs.perfsonar.net is a good resource. The most complete guide is here: http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_centos_netinstall.html. Hope that helps.
