I am looking for a program (commercial or free) capable of measuring
One Way delays. I got no name out of my google-fu but I heard of
hardware appliances that could mark packets at both sender/receiver.
Any name comes to mind ?
In fact I only know of OWAMP to do such computations and I would
prefer to use passive analysis; like capturing packets at both ends
and then let a software map a packet to its equivalent on the other
side to finally compute the OWD (assuming hosts clock are
synchronized). Is there such a software ? I've started a software
along those lines but was wondering if I could avoid it.
