Hi all,

I am currently having a problem where our server will not bootup due to different scripts. We were running perfSONAR successfully, and had just fixed a problem with not receiving test results. In order to receive better throughput results, I changed bwctl-server.conf by commenting out the peer ports section of the code. After this change, I rebooted the server via ssh, but now the server always hangs when booting up. Has there ever been a problem like this in the past? We are running RHEL 6.8 on a new HP server. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Daniel Manzo

Hi Daniel,

I'm curious - what was the assumption behind commenting out the ports in config file?

You would usually modify the setting when fw is in use, but not delete
