Hi,

You just need the perfsonar nagios plugins (which are just perl scripts that output results in the nagios format) and not a full nagios install. They should have been installed if you installed the “maddash” package. If you are running on x86_64, nagios plugins usually end-up in /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/ instead of /usr/lib. You may just need to do a search and replace of /usr/lib with /usr/lib64 that in your /etc/maddash/maddash-server/maddash.yaml file. The RPM is supposed to do that for you, there was a known issue which has been fixed, but not sure its in the public version yet. The search and replace should get you back on track though.

Thanks,
Andy

I have recently integrated perfSonar within my network architecture and am
looking to also integrate MaDDash for easy access to the data. I have gone
through most of the documentation at http://software.es.net/maddash/ and have
defined a list of hosts within 'groups'. When I look at the WebUI, I am given
an error for every node:

'Exception executing command: Cannot run program
"/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_throughput.pl": error=2, No such file or
directory'

My question is, do I need to have Nagios installed and working on the server
as well? The documentation was not clear on that.
