First comment would be that on http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_options.html the section that lists the five alternative installation options would be significantly clearer with a simple block diagram showing the inter relations of the packages as well as the relationship to a "Full Installation" from the downloaded iso.

How about as part of "perfsonar-toolkit"?

Installing perfsonar-toolkit doesn't provide the tols for the firewall in step 4
/usr/lib/perfsonar/scripts/system_environment/configure_firewall
