Hi Oleg,

Can you check to see if you get results when you try to access this url:http://<hostname-here>/esmond/perfsonar/archive?format=json. Replace, the hostname with the toolkit host address.

This will help us to confirm if the tests are indeed getting written to the database or not.

And, in addition to ping tests, can you try setting up some bwctl/owamp tests through the GUI and check if those appear in the GUI?

Regards,
Sowmya

Hello!

We are planning to deploy perfSONAR within the bounds of EaPConnect project [https://www.eapconnect.eu/Pages/Home.aspx]
I'm a responsible person in Belarusian network and my task is to examine and set up perfSONAR in our network and later help our partners with its deployment in their respective networks.

I downloaded CentOS 32-bit perfSONAR full distribution v3.5 and installed it in VirtualBox machine, set up the network and tried to create several simple tests to check whether everything is working fine.

Test creation process is self-explanatory, I made a single test to ping a gateway router every 30 seconds. I waited long enough, but "Test Results" section of the perfSONAR Toolkit remained empty, showing (No Results).
I checked the documentation, played with the test settings, but Test Results section was still empty.
Later I added several more nodes to ping, taken from community host list, but they aren't shown also.

The single test result which I managed to achieve is One-Way Delay Test, but it also works only for one node, the other node existing in this test group is absent on the result page.

Data is collected - when I perform query of JSON files, they show some data values, and they grow as the time passes. So the problem may be related to the data retrieving or visualization - I'm not competent in perfSONAR enough.

P.S. Later my colleague with Windows 7 installed another perfSONAR on vmware machine (64-bit, net installer). The problem is the same - no test results are shown.

I will attach the contents of my /var/log/perfsonar/

BTW, commands
bwping -s send_host -c receive_host
and
bwping -T owamp -s send_host -c receive_host -N 1000 -i .01
work OK when I run them from console.
