Hi Andreas,

Are you trying to use 'pool' NTP servers? The upgrade script should preserve
your servers, unless you are using pool servers, which are not recommended.

Thanks,
Michael

If you follow the instructions
at http://docs.perfsonar.net/manage_ntp.html#selecting-the-closest-servers
does it pick a better set or do you still end-up with the US servers? You
should also be able to manually select your NTP servers from that interface
as well and it should persist after update.

Yes, when clicking on that button in the web interface, it does exactly
what it should!

But the problem is that almost every week an automatic perfsonar update
appears which resets it to the defaults :-( I actually do not want to
watch it all the time in order to clean up the mess such updates left
behind.

Didn't perfsonar start with the motto: "Install it and forget about
it"? ;-) That's currently not the case, unfortunately ...

Cheers,
Andreas
