Hi Robert,

In 3.5, there are changes to /etc/httpd/conf.d/apache-toolkit_web_gui.conf as 
well as some other files.

I'm guessing that something in the 3.5 apache changes has your NDT page 
running under a different virtualhost, or is conflicting in some other way.

In particular, it looks like the toolkit_root_redirect.conf is redirecting me 
from
http://perfsonar1.research-lan.colostate.edu:7123/
to
http://perfsonar1.research-lan.colostate.edu:7123/toolkit/

Your first step might be disabling that redirect and seeing where that gets you. My guess is you have to change something else once you fix that, to get rid of the auth problem. 

I don't have apache serving up my NDT, so I'm not sure exactly how your 
apache is configured with respect to NDT. Can you share that, and a directory 
listing?
