Hi Andy,

Here is one the commands running on the box:

488      28376  0.0  0.0   7640  1360 ?        S    01:05   0:00 /usr/bin/bwping -c p51.noc.ucdavis.edu -T ping -4 -I 300 -p -d /var/lib/perfsonar/regular_testing/bwctl_DimFy -v -N 10 -t 255 -l 995 -i 1 -E

Are there suspicious command arguments?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

What does "ps auxw | grep bwping” return. That will show you the exact commands that are being run, which may be helpful if there are any extra command-line options that are breaking things.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy,

bwping –c pb.noc.ucdavis.edu and bwping –s pb.noc.ucdavis.edu work fine and get ping results back.

Hi,

Looks like there is a problem running the test. I think you databases are fine, based on the output above it can;t store anything because bwctl is unable to report any results. What happens when you run "bwping -c pb.noc.ucdavis.edu” from the command-line?

Thanks,

Andy

Hi all,

We are getting errors of storing test results on one of our perfSonar boxes,  here are some of the error messages that we saw in the log file:

We would love to hear tips of troubleshooting the problem. We have remove perfsonar and reinstall perfsonar along with cleaning the old pgsql database, but we are keep getting errors of storing test results.

Thank you.
