Dear pS-developers,

Occasionally there is an error appearing in the ls_registration_daemon log signifying the system was unable to update its registration with LS server. When I do manual test to the 8090 port of the LS service, it seems the connection is good and the LS service is operational.

Nevertheless Brian had yesterday sent an email stating he is seeing 17 GEANT servers, while in fact there should be at least 19 servers. When I looked at it, there were missing some servers and they had  the following error:

2015/04/08 13:13:49 (11840) ERROR> Base.pm:304 perfSONAR_PS::LSRegistrationDaemon::Base::register - Problem registering service. Will retry full registration next time: 403 Forbidden

Please explain if there is a procedure on how to deal with the problem or at least how to minimize the adverse effect of it.

I am applying also a log excerpt from the server.

Best regards,

Ivan
