In early Feb I noticed ndt processes running even though they were 
chkconfig'd off & NOT enabled via the perfSONAR web GUI.

It was noticed that both our Bw & Lat boxes webpage shows NDT as running
AGAIN. Yep, the processes are there:

Same on lcgnetmon02 :(

logfile timestamps = last Sunday probably around the time logrotate runs:

 cd /var/log/ndt/; ls -lt
-rw-r--r--   1 root root    63 Feb 15 03:32 web100srv.log
-rw-r--r--   1 root root   533 Feb 15 03:32 fakewww_error.log

In /etc/logrotate.d is ndt file with contents

 cat ndt
/var/log/ndt/*log {
    weekly
    rotate 4
    missingok
    notifempty
    sharedscripts
    postrotate
        /sbin/service ndt restart > /dev/null 2>/dev/null || true
    endscript
}

So I'm not *real* familiar with logrotate, but might it be that "service ndt
restart" is being executed as postrotate, & starting ndt every Sunday in the
wee hours even though it's chkconfig'd off???
