Christopher,

The UI will report "Unknown" when querying the lookup services fails for whatever reason. The only way I have seen this occur in testing is when there is no external network connectivity, though I would also guess this could happen if the lookup server(s) happen to be down. They appear to all be up from where I am so I don't think that is the case.

Your lookup server locator should be found in  /opt/SimpleLS/bootstrap/etc/hosts-client.yml. Can you verify the contents of that file and see if you can access the URL inside from the pS machine?

For the past several days, our pS-Performance toolkit has been reporting “Unknown” under “Globally registered” in the web interface. At first, we still showed up on the Lookup Service Directory, but this morning we do not.

What would trigger “Unknown” rather than simply “Yes” for success or “No” for failure, and how should we correct this?
