To add to what Andy said, the perfsonar-user list (this list) is also an active resource if you have particular questions that might not be covered in the docs. The community as well as the developers all pay attention and are generally pretty solid about responding to help with questions or troubleshooting an issue. Welcome aboard!

Hi Nicholas.

If you are looking to learn more about the perfSONAR project in general a good resource is the recently updated http://www.perfsonar.net. If you are looking for installation instructions see http://docs.perfsonar.net. Those are a good place to get started.

Thanks,
Andy

Hello.

My name is Nick Turi and I am helping the University of New Hampshire (UNH) set-up perfSONAR on our network to monitor throughput and utilize the other features of perfSONAR. Right now our plan is to put perfSONAR on our regular network and then get it onto our Science DMZ network and compare the speed versus one another.

I am hoping someone would like to share their ideas/thoughts/comments on how I should get started. Any documentation or instructions that you could share would be greatly beneficial as we begin to learn more about perfSONAR!

Thank You.

Nick Turi
