I was intrigued by the FAQ at http://www.perfsonar.net/about/faq/

Q:How do I use the NDT command line client (web100clt)?

 

However, I downloaded software.internet2.edu/sources/ndt/ndt-3.6.5.2.tar.gz and when after unzipping and untaring it, I looked at the README and INSTALL files, and it looked like that tar package was for building an NDT server.  I want just the command line client (web100clt) for Linux.

 

I successfully installed the ‘bwctl’ tool as instructed at http://psps.perfsonar.net/toolkit/start.html and since it involved the install of some dependency RPMs, I thought I might be able to just continue with the install of ‘web100clt’ as shown by the terminal snippet below:

Internet2-repo-0.2-8.noarch.rpm  ndt-3.6.5.2.tar.gz

[root@sqa-lg04 tmp]# pwd

/var/tmp

[root@sqa-lg04 tmp]# yum install web100clt

But that did not work, so my question is: How may I install the client only ‘web100clt’ on CentOS 6.4 ?
