Hi,

I had a similar problem yesterday on a non-perfSONAR host. After I booted
system to an old kernel, I found that initramfs file for the new kernel
was missing in /boot directory.

After I removed, then reinstalled the new kernel, the host was able to
boot correctly.

Hope this information is useful.

Cheers,

Lixin.
