perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

I used "  sudo /opt/perfsonar_ps/toolkit/scripts/nptoolkit-configure.py", the entered into Configure Networking and entered static IP to the only available interface ( removing * to select dhcp).

No I can't reach gatway or any external host using ping.

What commands did you use to set the static address? It sounds like it may just be a local network issue. From the host can you ping your gateway after setting the static IP address? can you ping any external hosts?
